Lesson of the day: Don't overcompensate

So my shins started hurting this morning. You want to know why? Because for the past few days i've been wearing heels to try and decrease the amount of lifting my ankle was doing because it made it feel better. My normal flat-shoes did not help my ankle at all. Now my ankle feels great, but my shins hurt. Perhaps I should have just worn some nice running shoes for a few days instead of going to the opposite extreme.
